For more than 40 years, Columbia College has been helping military personnel, their family members and DoD civilians earn a college degree while serving their country. We are a private, coeducational liberal arts and sciences college. Columbia College courses of study are Veterans Administration (VA) approved by state approving agencies.

  • Eighteen of our nationwide locations across the country are on military bases, including one in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba
  • Columbia College offers more than 800 accredited online classes and 29 accredited online degree programs
  • Six sessions per year, two in Fall, two in Spring and two in Summer
  • Start-and-stop degree program flexibility to meet work, military and family obligations
  • Books and required course materials are provided by a grant
  • All fees have been eliminated, including application and graduation fees

Columbia College accepts American Council on Education (ACE) recommended credit for:
  • College-Level Examination program (CLEP)
  • Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES)
  • Proficiency Examination Program (PEP)
  • United States Armed Forces Institute (USAFI)
  • Learning acquired in military life
