Rose Barracks Education Center Programs and Services
Individual counseling services:
Education counselors can assist you with everything from setting your education goals to creating your GoArmyEd account if you plan to use Army Tuition Assistance (TA). Contact your education counselor for helpful information on college programs, school accreditation, GI Bill programs, college credit for military experience, financial aid, scholarships, commissioning programs, testing programs and much more. Speaking with a counselor is a great first step in pursuing your education goals.
We are happy to brief your unit or group. Group briefings can be tailored to provide an overview of available education services and benefits and to address particular areas of interest in detail. We recommend that you schedule regular briefings to ensure your unit or group is up-to-date and taking full advantage of education benefits.
Several on-site colleges offer courses leading to the award of credentials to include Associate's, Bachelor's, and Master's degrees. Both traditional classroom and distance education courses are available. (See our contact info to learn more about our local colleges.) There are also many other accredited colleges offering online programs. Your education counselor can help you narrow down your choices and decide on a school and degree that works for you. We highly recommend checking out any school with us before you commit any funds so that we can ensure the school is properly accredited.
