NOTE: If you are physically located in Asia and wish to take UMGC online undergraduate courses, please register for these courses through the GoArmyEd portal, just as you would register for UMGC Asia courses.

Help Ensure That We Can Contact You

You are required to have a preferred e-mail account identified within the MyUMGC Student Portal, to

  • Streamline university communications
  • Increase security of University e-mails
  • Ensure that official university announcements are sent to active e-mail accounts
  • Enhance your student experience by maintaining a standard e-mail protocol and directory throughout the University

Your preferred account can be either your UMGC student account (userid@student.umuc.edu) or any outside personal account you may have. For more information on accessing and using your UMGC e-mail account, visit Technology Resources.

Please note that if you select an outside personal account as your preferred e-mail address, you assume full responsibility for maintaining that account and are accountable for any official University communication sent to that address. It is important to check your preferred account (as identified in MyUMGC) on a regular basis, as e-mails constitute an official means of communication for University policies, deadlines, and other important student information.

 

Applying/Re-applying for Admission

Please note there is a $50 fee assessed when an application for undergraduate study is submitted to UMGC Asia. This application fee is non-refundable and required of all applicants. Payment can be made with all major credit cards or electronically with your checking or savings account.

Students reapplying for admission are not required to submit another application fee.
