How do I apply?
The first step in the admissions process is to complete the GoArmyEd application. This typically involves speaking with your Army Education Counselor for assistance.

I’ve applied through the GoArmyEd portal, what’s my next step?
Undergraduate applicants – go to the NSU admissions page and create a VIP account. http://www.nova.edu/admissions/apply/index.html) Complete the application including payment of the application fee. Please have an official transcript from all previously attended schools sent to NSU. A high school transcript is required of all undergraduate applicants who have not completed an Associate's degree.

Graduate applicants – Go to the degree program website and complete the admissions application. Visit the links below; if you don’t see your desired program, visit the NSU website and navigate from there. Once you complete the program’s application, please have an official transcript from all previously attended schools sent to NSU. Except for eArmyU applicants, the $50 application fee is required. Payment may be made at the time of application.

To what address do I send my transcripts?
Please send all official transcripts to:

Enrollment Processing Services
Nova Southeastern University
P.O. Box 299000
Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33314-9905

When do I select “other” as my chosen degree plan through GoArmyEd?
Select “other” when your degree plan is not listed as an NSU eArmyU program.

How long will it take me to complete my chosen program?
This depends on which degree program you choose, how many courses you take in one term, and how many terms are offered per year. If you are pursuing a graduate degree, the average completion time is one to three years.

Our most popular graduate programs have the following components:
Business programs: 36-43 credits, 4 terms per year, full-time 18-21 months
Computer and Information Sciences programs: 36-43 credits, 4 terms per year, full-time 18-21 months
Education programs: 36 credits, 6 “terms” per year, full-time 12 months

I’ve been accepted into a program at NSU but the GoArmyEd portal doesn’t allow me to register for classes. What do I do?
Check your status in the GoArmyEd portal. If you are status says ‘applicant’ then you have not been admitted to the program in the portal. Please contact us at (800) 541-NOVA ext. 5386 or email military@nova.edu or cronin@nova.edu Tell us your name, NSU ID number if you know it, and the program. We will update the GoArmyEd portal. Once your status is updated to active, you will be able to register for classes.

My applicant status in the GoArmyEd portal is active but I can’t find my classes. Now what?
Classes only display eight weeks prior to the start date. If the class is within this time period, search for the class by school and level (e.g., NSU, graduate). Leave the course subject blank. If that still does not show you what you are looking for, please contact us at military@nova.edu or cronin@nova.edu.

I live near an NSU campus; can I take classes there and still use my TA?
Yes, you may take classes in any format and still use TA. Please note, special TA tuition rates do not apply to all programs and all delivery formats. Please contact us if you have specific questions.

I don’t see the program I want listed in the GoArmyEd portal but I know NSU offers it. What do I do?
When you apply to a degree program that is not listed in the GoArmyEd portal, select “other” as your academic plan. In the academic subplan field, state which program you want. Please be specific so we can forward your application to the appropriate department.

Does NSU offer a military discount?
Some programs offer military discounts for Army active duty Servicemembers. Please reference the list of TA programs for the military discounted rates.

Are your terms rolling or do they have specific start and end dates?
Each term has a specific start and end date.
